Flamingo Physical Description
The tallest flamingo there is, is the Greater Flamingo, which stands over 50 inches tall and weighs almost eight pounds!
The smalled flamingo is called the Lesser Flamingo. They stand over 31 inches tall and weigh a little over 5 pounds.
The males stop growing around 1-2 years.
A flamingo's ankle is located halfway up their leg. You cannot see their knee, because its located very close to their body underneath the wings.
The
neck is very long and skinny. They have 19 neck vertibrae which allows them
maximum movement and flexibility.
